No. Without Supabase credentials the kit runs in demo mode using cookie-based auth, so you can explore the full sign-up → dashboard → logout flow instantly.

What's the tech stack?+

Next.js 14 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase for auth & database. Everything is fully typed with a clean, conventional folder structure.
